In math, we have been transitioning into subtraction. The children have a solid addition foundation. The game "What's hiding?" uses the children's knowledge of addition to learn subtraction. In class, we played "What's hiding?" with 10 objects. By using 10, the children's 10 facts were reinforced and they were discovering the relationship between addition and subtraction. This would be a great game to practice at home!
