Easy Addition Game

Here is an easy addition game to play at home! The great thing is...you can play it anywhere! All you need is two players and your fingers. In class, we played it similar to rock, paper, scissors but instead of making a rock you choose the number of fingers to put up. Both players put up fingers and the first to shout the sum wins. The game really encourages the kids to count on because the using the strategy makes you faster. The kids loved the game so much, I see them playing it at recess!
