We crowned some more Royal Readers this week. I was pleasantly surprised at the weekly minute totals. So many students logged into RazKids even while on vacation from school! Excellent. Our king read 311 minutes this week and our queen, 241 minutes.
We had five readers earning a glow bracelet this week for reading over 150 minutes! Two of the readers in the 150 club have reached 150 minutes for the past month! As a class, the readers have logged over 6,000 minutes on RazKids this month. The most exciting part of all these reading minutes is I am seeing huge level gains. Next Wednesday, we start a K-2 read-a-thon. We are trying to raise money to buy a RazKids subscription for each kindergarten, first grade, and second grade classroom at Eagle Cliffs. Please participate and support this fundraiser. The reading benefits your child's learning and funds raised will improve reading school wide.
