The hundredth day of school was SUPER!  Thanks for the amazing capes!  The students loved showing them off!  These kids are super creative!

Our Hundred Day Heroes marched the hallways in a parade. As they marched, we counted to one hundred by fives and tens. Every time we hit 100 we did our best super pose. Mrs. Crum thought we were awesome.

Our hundreds day was more than a big parade though.  We did many other fun learning activities.  We did a number find to look for 100.  And, we took the letters in "one hundred" with the app Word Wizard to see how many words we could spell out of the letters.  The students didn't find one hundred words but they worked hard and did beautifully.

We had a special hundreds day snack.  We also did a QR hunt that was a great math review.  The children scanned the QR code and it gave them a math problem.  The answer to the math problem gave them a coordinate to shade on their recording sheets.  The students continued to answer  questions until a secret picture was revealed on the recording sheet.  The secret picture....100!

We also did some 100 writing.  The children made a book.  In the book they had to answer what they would want to see one hundred of, smell 100 of, eat 100 of, and what they would do with 100 dollars.  The last page, the children had to complete the sentence "When I am 100 years old...."
The responses made me chuckle.  We use a free app to take the children's pictures and age them.  So fun!  I'll leave you with some of the responses:
"When I am 100 years old I will walk with a cane."
"When I am 100 years old I will have a mustache."
"When I am 100 years old I will drink coffee."
"When I am 100 years old I will finally own a dog."
