Apple Measuring and Buddies

We worked with our buddies to observe and measure our apples. The fifth graders were great helpers. We measured circumference, found the weight, tested if apples would sink or float, counted seeds and more! The kids worked so hard! Thanks for sending in apples to use in our math activity. I took the apples home and the next day we enjoyed applesauce. Here are some pictures from the lesson!
