Buddies

On Friday, we had our second visit with our 5th grade buddies! I'm not sure who was more excited, the 5th graders or the kindergartners! This week with our buddies we read our news magazine on pumpkins, sorted nonfiction and fiction books, and read some fall and Halloween stories together. One of the fifth graders commented, "since when do kindergartners know fiction and nonfiction!" Buddy time is going to be a great learning opportunity for both groups of children.
