Sunflowers

In science, we have been talking about signs of fall like apples and pumpkins. We have studied the life cycle of a pumpkin. We have also been thinking like scientists and making observations about different fall items. I came across two giant sunflower heads and thought it was a perfect opportunity for the kindergarten scientists to explore and make some observations about another sign of fall.  Each child got to go outside with a small group and Miss Tania to see what they could discover.  I just love to see the wonder and curiosity on their faces.
